Two day Cricket Tournament, ‘Global Premier League- 2022’ commenced in the campus cricket ground on
28th October 2022.
The tournament was inaugurated by Vice Chairman Dr. Akashdeep Singh Chandi.
The tournament got off to a spectacular start with the release of the GPL 2022 plaque and colourful balloons.
The league matches of 10 overs per inning were played on 28th October and will continue on 29th October, 2022 .
Total 08 teams are participating representing various departments.
The inaugural match of GPL 2022 was played between the teams of Department of Pharmacy and B.Tech.Civil Engg. which was won by Pharmacy Department.
In the second league match the team B.Tech. CSE/IT outplayed the Department of Management.
The third match between Polytechnic Department and B.Tech. ME/MCA/BCA proved to be a one sided affair with Polytechnic team winning with a huge margin.
The semi-finals and final would be played on 29th October, 2022 to decide the winner of this year’s Global Premier League.
