Tech Craft Crops Club of Department of Computer Applications Organized “Decode The Grid” activity for the students of BCA and MCA. The aim of the Activity is to enhance the problem-solving skills, teamwork, and quick thinking abilities of the students through a fun and engaging activity.
It was a stimulating event designed for the students. The core of the activity revolved around a crossword puzzle, challenging participants to solve it within a limited timeframe. Teams, each comprising two students, were formed to encourage collaboration and shared problem-solving.
Each team received a crossword puzzle with ten words, split evenly between across and down clues. Accompanying the puzzle were five across hints and five down hints, providing essential clues to aid in solving the puzzle. The teams were given a strict time limit of 15 minutes to complete the crossword. The team that finished the crossword correctly and in the shortest time was declared the winner.
This format not only tested the students’ vocabulary and knowledge but also their ability to work under pressure. The competitive element of the activity added an extra layer of excitement, motivating the participants to think critically and efficiently.
