The School of Legal Studies organized an enlightening guest lecture on “Interplay of Fundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties: The Twin Foundation of Indian Constitution” on 30th March 2026 for the students of law.
The session was delivered by Dr. Meenu Verma, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Laws, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, a distinguished academician and legal expert with over 15 years of experience in teaching and legal practice.
Dr. Verma beautifully explained the intrinsic relationship between Fundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties, highlighting how both serve as complementary pillars of a strong constitutional democracy.
Her insightful deliberations inspired students to recognize their responsibilities as informed and responsible citizens.
The event was graced by the presence of worthy Vice Chairman Dr. Akashdeep Singh along with Dr. P. K. Sharma and Dr. Rajni Bedi.
