CRICKET GLOBAL PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON-1 CONCLUDES
Two days Cricket Tournament ‘Global Premier League- SEASON-1, came to a fine close on 24th Feburary 2023 when B Tech CSE team won the final match by 6 wickets defeating B Tech Civil.
The final match was played in the cricket ground of Global Group of Institutes Amritsar.
Earlier, B Tech CSE team won the first semi- final by defeating the team of Pharmacy by 6 wickets.
The second semi- final was played between the teams of HMCT/BTTM & B Tech Civil which was won by B Tech Civil by 26 runs.
RYTHEM of B Tech CSE was declared man of the Tournament with 71 runs and 3 wickets.
The players of the winning team were given a Trophy, Medals and Certificates by the Chairman Dr B S CHANDI and
Vice Chairman Dr Akashdeep Singh.
The players
of the runners up team were also given medals and certificates.
Campus Director Dr MS Saini, Director Admissions Prof B D Sharma, Dean Students Welfare Dr PK Sharma, Principal Charanjit Singh, HODs and members of the Staff were also present during prize distribution ceremony.
GPL Season-2 will be played in the last months of 2023.
