Department of Civil Engineering organized yearly Survey Camp as this is the part of syllabus curriculum for 10 days to Dalhousie aiming to know various works carried out in the industrial field by surveying, which includes determining the topography of particular area with the help of survey work, map study and reconnaissance work. In this camp students even cover topics like plane table surveying, contouring, compass surveying, leveling using auto-level & measuring horizontal and vertical angles using theodolite. The students at last made the topographical map of that area using these techniques.
