ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR FRESHERS

On the first day of Orientation Program, the following speakers addressed the freshers:

1.Mr. Ranjan Vasishtha, MD, Quantum Jump Consulting Group,New Delhi and ex Deputy General Manager Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

2. Prof. B D Sharma, Director Admissions

3.Dr Sanjeev Saini, Dean Academics

4. Dr. Monika Arora.

Mr Ranjan Vasistha addressed the students on Career Aspirations and discussed in detail the various steps to grow and move up the ladder in career. Three main requirements for career enhancement he said, are “Curriculum , Practical and Personality Development”. He showed a number of videos on personality development which were highly appreciated by the students.

Prof. B. D. Sharma Director Admissions, addressed the new students and shared valuable tips on time management. He explained in detail the principles and techniques of time management to the students. The various concepts were explained with examples and he gave Mantra of ‘DO IT NOW’ which means that we should never postpone anything.

Dr. Sanjeev Saini, Dean Academics talked about ‘Maslows Theory of Needs ‘. He elaborately explained about Entrepreneurship . He made new students understand the need to set goals and work on achieving them adapt skills to succeed in professional career.

Dr Monika Arora of Management Department spoke on the Art of Listening.

The students highly appreciated the endeavor of the Institute in organising such a very informative orientation program.
