ORIENTATION PROGRAM- DAY 4 (09-09-2022)
On the 4th day of the Orientation Program of newly admitted students,
Prof. Chetan Singh Solanki also known as Solar Man of India, addressed the students.
He is an eduducator, researcher and innovator from IIT Bombay and is on Energy Swaraj Yatra to awaken the people about the catastrophic consequences of global warming. He is on a mission to create a public movement towards adoption of 100% solar energy and save the mankind from disastrous effects of excessive use of energy and called for limiting its use.
The next speaker was Dr. Dewakar Goel, Ex.GM (Personnel & Administration) Airports Authority of India. He delivered an expert talk on HR which covered :
(1) Responsibilities of HR in organisational functions and progress
(2) Employees satisfaction & Performance Appraisal and Organisational Behaviour Management
(3) Stress Management,
(4)Soft Skills and Positive Attitude
(5) Learning and Presentation Abilities.
The last speaker of the day Dr.Shelly discussed about various aspects of business environment, citing real life examples and its importance in strategy formulation by Business Organisations.
