NSS wing of Global Group of Institutes in association with Rotary Club Amritsar Civil Lines organised a Mega Blood Donation Camp in the campus on 10th March 2023.

NSS wing of Global Group of Institutes in association with Rotary Club Amritsar Civil Lines organised a Mega Blood Donation Camp in the campus on 10th March 2023.

Dr. Akashdeep Singh, Vice Chairman, led the donors by donating blood first of all.

Inaugurated jointly by Dr. B.S. Chandi Chairman and Rtn. Gurjeet Sekhon past District Governor, the blood donation camp was held under the supervision of an expert team of Blood Bank from Guru Nanak Dev Hospital, Amritsar with Dr. Kavita Associate Professor leading the team.

Inspired by the dynamic leadership of Dr. Akashdeep Singh, a large number of faculty, staff and students donated blood with great enthusiasm at the camp. More than 100 units of blood were collected by the team from Blood Bank of GND Hospital.

Dr. Navjot Kaur Chandi, Campus Director Dr. M.S. Saini, Prof. B.D. Sharma Director (Admissions), Dr. P.K. Sharma, Dean Students Welfare, Rtn. Ashish Sharma President Rotary Club Civil Lines, Rtn. Baldev Singh, Rtn. Vikram Uppal, Rtn. Dr. S.P.S. Dhillon, Dr. Monika Arora Coordinator NSS Wing, Dr. Manbir Kaur, Prof. Charanjit Singh and a host of faculty, staff members and a large numbers of students were present on the occasion.

The donors were awarded certificates in recognition of their contribution to the great humanitarian cause .
