Independence Day celebrated at Global Institutes

The Global Group of Institutes hoisted the tricolor on the eve of Independence Day at its campus with great zeal and enthusiasm.

A large number of students and faculty members participated in the Independence Day celebrations. Chairman of the Global Group of Institutes Dr. B.S. Chandi unfurled the National Flag. The ceremony was marked by patriotic fervour with the students singing patriotic songs and reciting poems. The Chairman after flag hoisting ceremony addressed the students and the faculty present during the ceremony.

Dr. Akashdeep Singh Chandi, Vice Chairman while speaking on the occasion impressed upon the students to work hard and become successful professionals and responsible citizens so that they can take forward the country and make India proud. He advised all to hoist National Flag atop their houses as part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to honour our past, celebrate the present and prepare to light up our future.

He appealed to faculty and students to follow the theme of, ‘National First Always First’.

The ceremony came to an end with the distribution of sweets amongst those present.
