Global Group of Institutes is organising two day freshers fest *Aagaaz* on 31st August and 1st September 2023 to welcome new students, who joined various courses in this session 2023.

The Chairman Dr. B. S. Chandi , Vice Chairman Dr.Akashdeep Singh Chandi alongwith Dr. Navjot Kaur, Campus Director Dr. M. S. Saini, Mrs. Davinder Kaur Saini, Prof. B. D. Sharma Director Admissions, Dr. P. K. Sharma Dean Students Welfare, Dr. Sanjeev Saini, Dean Academics started the proceedings of the festival by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

The festival took off on a lively note with the seniors welcoming their new friends by hosting an entertaining extravaganza marked with lively performances and splendid display of all round artistic talent. The seniors and juniors exhibited warmth, interacted freely and started their new journey on a happy note.

The enthusiastic participation by the 1st year and 2nd year students of different streams enlivened the proceedings as the young artists took the stage and contributed to the festive feeling with their fine performances by singing melodies, dancing and eye catching and scintillating catwalk. The festival provided an opportunity to the seniors and juniors to mingle with each other and develop new friendship bonds . The spirit of bonhomie and atmosphere of revelry prevailed throughout.

The freshers got to know cultural ethos of different regions of India and some foreign countries as students from varied backgrounds regaled the audience through songs and dance performances. The diversity that students represented during the festival was spectacular with students from J&K, Himachal, Northeast, Bihar,UP, Jharkhand applauded by those present in the audience.

The scintillating performances of the students enthralled the audience and electrified the joyous atmosphere. The highlight of the events were the Fashion show and Ramp walk held to select Miss & Mr. Fresher, Mr. Handsome & Miss Charming.

The events attracted a large number of students who packed the Institute Auditorium to capacity to enjoy and witness the students showcase their talent, beauty and wit and drew loud cheers and appreciation from their fellow juniors and seniors present.

Dr. Akashdeep Singh Chandi, Vice Chairman applauded the participating students for their remarkable and entertaining presentations during the festival. He said that the Institute always endeavour to provide every opportunity and platform to its students to improve upon their skills and personality and grow into confident human beings as well as successful professionals .
