Free Eye Check Up Camp in the campus for 20th & 21st June 2023

Free Eye Check Up Camp was jointly organized for 2 days by Pharmacy Department of the Institutes and Dr. Om Parkash Eye Institute, Mall Road, Amritsar.

The camp started on 20th June 2023 at 10 am in the Pharmacy Department.

Dr. M.S. Saini, Campus Director alongwith Prof. B.D. Sharma, Director (Admissions) inaugurated the camp in the presence of Dr. P.K. Sharma Dean (Students Welfare), Dr. Sanjeev Saini (Dean Academics) and Prof. Rupinder Kaur HOD, Pharmacy Department and faculty members.

Dr. Om Parkash Eye Institute’s team led by Dr. Santokh Singh, M.S. Ophthalmology, conducted the eye camp. On the first day today a total number of 125 patients including faculty, staff and students were examined by the team. Mr. Chetan Bhardwaj Camp Administrator, Mr. Rajesh Optometrist, Mr. Mohit , Mr. Sukhpreet Singh, Counselor, Mr. Karan and Mr. Bharat both interns at the Dr. Om Parkash Institute were other members of the team that carried out the examination of the patients.

The camp will continue on 21st June 2023 which marks the International Yoga Day.
