Agriculture Students Visit Centre of Excellence for Vegetables (Indo – Israel Project), Kartarpur on 12th April 2023.

The students of B.Sc Agri (Hons.) visited the “Centre of excellence for vegetables” ( In do- Israel Project), Kartarpur on 12th April 2023.

The specialists briefed the students about the ongoing project and also elaborated the various research and extension activities being carried out for welfare of the growers.

Thereafter, the experts showed the students the different types of protected structures for growing off-season vegetables throughout the year under controlled conditions.

The students keenly observed the latest technologies for protected cultivation to be followed by the farmers for maximizing their income.

Throughout the visit, the students behaved explicitly well and equipped themselves with the practical knowledge for growing seedlings in the Pro trays in different growing medias, fertigation, drip irrigation, mode of pollination in cucurbitis and solanaceous crops.
