Over 500 Graduates Receive Degrees at Convocation Ceremony
Global Group of Institutes (GGI) celebrated its 4th convocation on March 16, 2024, conferring degrees upon more than 500 students. Graduates from 15 different streams in Postgraduate and Graduate programs were honored with degrees, with several outstanding students receiving prestigious Institute medals during the distinguished academic event.
The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Chief Guest Dr. Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh, IPS (Retd.), MLA from Amritsar North, and Special Guest of Honour Padma Shri Dr. Harmohinder Singh Bedi, Chancellor of Central University, Himachal Pradesh. Dr. Ekonkaar Singh, Deputy Registrar, IKG PTU, also attended as a Guest of Honour, adding to the significance of the convocation.
Dr. Akashdeep Singh, Vice Chairman of GGI, delivered the Institute’s report, outlining its vision to become a dynamic and innovative center for education and research, fostering socially responsible technocrats, entrepreneurs, and professionals. He highlighted Global’s achievements in academics, placements, sports, and co-curricular activities at various levels, proudly announcing its accreditation with NAAC +A grade, a testament to its academic excellence.
Dr. Singh praised the students’ consistent performance in IKG PTU examinations, securing Gold Medals, Top positions, and Merit positions since the institute’s inception in 2008.
During his convocation address, Chief Guest Dr. Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh lauded GGI’s significant contribution to providing quality education to students from the region and beyond. He emphasized the crucial role of education and commended Global Institute for its exceptional infrastructure and educational philosophy, congratulating the degree recipients and acknowledging the dedicated faculty for their role in shaping students’ careers.
Guest of Honour Dr. Harmohinder Singh Bedi extended his congratulations to the degree holders, urging them to pursue greater heights in their future endeavors. His motivational words resonated with the graduating class, inspiring them to strive for excellence in their chosen paths.
