The Civil Engineering Department successfully organized the inauguration ceremony of the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in collaboration with UltraTech Cement on 26th March 2026.
The event marked a significant milestone in strengthening industry–academia collaboration and enhancing practical learning opportunities for students.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome address by the department, followed by insightful deliberations by distinguished dignitaries from UltraTech Cement.
They emphasized the growing importance of industry partnerships in civil engineering education and highlighted the need to adopt modern construction practices to meet evolving industry standards.
The Centre of Excellence was formally inaugurated with the objective of providing students with hands-on experience, exposure to advanced construction materials, and avenues for research and innovation.
A major highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Global Group of Institutes and UltraTech Cement.
This initiative goes beyond a formal inauguration; it signifies the beginning of a transformative journey towards developing future-ready professionals and fostering excellence in alignment with the dynamic needs of the construction industry.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and was graced by the esteemed presence of Er. Vipin Chaudhary (ZHT – NorthB, UltraTech Mumbai), Mr. Ashish Kapil (RHM – NP, UltraTech), Er.
