Mega Blood Donation Camp

On the eve of 552nd birthday of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji, a mega blood donation camp was organized in the campus of Global Institutes Amritsar on 18th Nov.2021.

The Blood Donation Camp is organized every year in the campus of the college in association with the Rotary Club Amritsar Civil Lines.

An expert team headed by Dr Kavita from Guru Nanak Dev Hospital Blood Bank collected more than 150 units of blood from students and staff members of the College.

Chief Guest  Rtn Gurjeet Sekhon coordinator Zone 4 , highly commended the initiative of Global Group of Institutes Amritsar in organising Blood Donation Camp in the campus which has become an annual feature of the College.

Rtn  Col  Hundal, Rtn Baldev Singh, Rtn Vikram Uppal, Rtn Kamal Uppal were also presented on the occasion.

Dr Akashdeep  Singh , Vice Chairman of Global Group of Institutes Amritsar  expressed his happiness on the grand success of the camp and  thanked the students and staff members of the college who  voluntary came forward in  large number to donate blood.

He also thanked the team of experts of Guru Nanak Dev Hospital who took blood units under hygienic conditions by following all protocols of Covid-19.
